Silvery blue sheen
A veil covering
Wild creatures deep
Rising to shallows
Flash past my feet
Ray of speckled flight
Effortless grace

On becoming
Belonging can be

Through ancient eyes
These trees have seen it all

Safety cove
Dip toes tentatively
Until foam tickles

Squeal and sigh
Brisk embrace of icey

Tingling
