Dreaming place

Last night I had
A stranger's dream
Just like the night before
We moved from islands
Through to lovers
I rested on your shore
All the times
We floated freely
Sore each other
Mid-ocean
Till tides refrain
Storms between
Each hurricane
A woman's name
When really
We are peace
It's the pressure
From all around us
That suspends us
Mid air with pieces
Of our lives
Passing before eyes
One day we meet
In the centre
Marvel at the power
Of nature
Our place in it
Together
Sandy bay

Love like

Snow melt
Held captive
Many months
First a cadence
Overtaken by rivulets
Tracing their way
Through frozen caps
Underneath shimmering
Carving out
New landscapes
Courses join hands
Tumble to the sea
Cast out in pale blues
Foamy white curls
Atop mountain dew waves
Processing through
Daffodil mouths open
Corridors of new life rise
As if never seen before
Or again by these eyes
Switzerland

Senseless

All senses speak to me
In the deafening silence
Not loved like
You ought to be
Left too long without
Tend and treating
Hidden among spotted leaf
My intention to drip
Feed love daily
Repaid by observing bloom
Only known pain
If I cannot hold
Breathe in perfume
Before you hide again
Daily dose until renewed

Above all else

One can be wise
Wealthy and generous
Kind as earth is wide
But unless their touch
Gives and receives
Stories gently
Our lives an imprint
Of our family tree
The sting of derision
Hurts them more than me
Storykeepers spreading
Joy of living
From petal to seed

Guiding light

Each waking moment
Turns over hoping
One day to lay eyes
Your rising every morning
Even behind closed lids
I embrace your light
Reflected between us
I lament the days
You hid your face
Days like this
Every living thing
Holds still
Breath pensive
As if you entered in
The room adorned
Adored by all
Time stood still
All eyes ablaze
All elements in tune
As waves obey the moon
We rise and fall
Too soon

Solis

No other presence both
Warms and soothes
Casts shadows
Heals and burns
Dawns and rules
Night sky yearns
Earth searing
Growth expounding
Her worth
In daily doses
As she moves closer
We vacate hiding places
Abandon cinemas
Theatre audiences
To meet her on sand
Absorb her all
In glorious array
Until cloud curtains
Herald rain
Longing sun kiss
Cheeks hand brush pink
Thirst taste on lips
Till we meet again
