Never lament the tears That fell in love with River's edge Swallowed up forever By tides and waves No shame in crying Just a welling over Of unfathomable emotion Spills from clear blue pools Through soft lashes of grasses Drop down downy mounds Of moss covered round Boulders Slip through crevice Lingering on lips Recalling the moment We refused to break The surface tension Instead hovering lightly Like blossom petal on cheek A dragonfly drinking Not to disturb Still waters beneath Holding endless peace Like cupped hands Around a warm face Breathing each to each
I've never left hibernation All but a short stroll Around the garden To vacate my cave Return to ocean Plunge deep into her senses Cool relief I imagine it daily Breaking the surface Would look like Reaching out both arms Holding her close to me Kissing her forehead Hand on her cheek The full force of waves Impacting me With that smile Just inches away Rocking me to the core Over and over again In rhythm with moon Wax and wane For as long as forever Remains
Saline cleansing drops Saved up for sacred Moments when I run Out of words They flow To speak 1000 To say The things Out of pain Moments when I love Shored up for haven Wells nourishing rain
A massage Smoothing over All hard places Flooding in Joints and sinew Touching pain Bringing healing Warm movement Entering in Tentatively Slow moving statue Rising up again Brought to life Ready for anything
